Title: Barge Maintenance – Internship
Reports To: Barge Maintenance Manager
Position: Summer Intern
Location: Paducah, KY
Hours: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

fully integrated fleet in the industry that can do what we do.
Principal Responsibilities:
Scan and index barge maintenance information from current system into Docuware software program.
Manage, organize, store, and accurately enter historical barge documents into Docuware system.
Provide a full range administrative support including data entry, reports using computer software applications.
Support Barge Maintenance team in preparation of transferring information into Docuware system.
Advise Manager of any issues or recommendations to ensure orderly and efficient administrative operations.
Develop and maintain database of Barge audits/inspections.
Repetitive data entry inputting information to new system using computer-based software.
Maintain database of Barge Audits, inspections, barge photos, drawings, and draft charts.
Other related duties and/or project tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Accuracy, attention to detail, and computer skills are essential.
Strong organizational habits.
Strong skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Access etc.
Knowledge of the Marine Industry is a plus, but not required.
