Position Summary:

The HR Coordinator of Wheelhouse and Deck Crew Talent is responsible for assisting in the recruiting and retaining premier wheelhouse and deck crew talent for Marquette. This individual will stay closely connected with wheelhouse and deck crew talent within Marquette and in the industry. They will be responsible for assisting in identifying and recruiting the strongest talent to join the Gulf-Inland and Offshore teams while being mindful of dynamics when recruiting talent from customers and partners.

  • Partner with the Operations to identify and plan for wheelhouse hiring/transfer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline of external wheelhouse talent who could join Marquette Gulf-Inland and internal wheelhouse talent who can be transferred to River.
  • Represent and promote Marquette to the industry’s top wheelhouse and deck crew talent as an employer of choice with a strong safety culture.
  • Collaborate with Operations and HR to assess and interview wheelhouse and deck crew candidates.
  • Support new wheelhouse hires in their onboarding and training as they make the transition to Marquette.
  • Maintain relationships with wheelhouse and deck crew talent during their career at Marquette and keep a pulse on their engagement and satisfaction levels. Voice concerns shared by wheelhouse talent that could lead to retention risks and identify actions to ensure retention of top wheelhouse talent.
  • Keep abreast of wheelhouse and deck crew compensation and benefits, new business opportunities, equipment sales, and other relevant information and share with the appropriate internal parties.
