Principal Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a system for locating and controlling spare parts and consumables that includes:
    • Tracking of storage and movement of product from receipt to storage and from order filling to shipping and/or staging at various locations.
    • Maintaining timely records of all item storage and movement.
  • Maintain MCFO/Ripple automated tracking systems, for identifying items, inputting information into the database, and modifying the status to keep track of changes in location, quantity, etc.
  • Maintain asset equipment statistical database.
  • Facilitate (where necessary) information sharing, vessel to shore communications, and warranty tracking.
  • Develop/implement inventory tracking system within Power BI that mirrors MCFO/Ripple database.
  • Develop/formalize spare parts inventory levels and locations to ensure the right quantities, at the right time in the right place.
    • Perform frequent audits on spare parts inventory, identify and restore deficiencies.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to continuously improve inventory and productivity.
  • Shipping, receiving and confirmation of all inventory deliveries compared to dray ticket.
  • Maintain daily records of inventoried materials received and shipped to vessels.
  • Work closely with purchasing on receiving material in MCFO/Ripple.
  • Streamline day-day activities for continuous improvement.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Inventory Control Management or related field preferred.
  • 3+years’ experience in warehouse and/or inventory.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of purchasing, warehousing, and tracking costs of capital and non-capital items.
  • Knowledge of inventory and fixed asset concepts, practices and procedures.
